Automation of New Client Integration within the Bank’s Core Banking System

This private bank decided to embark on an automation project to revolutionize client onboarding, seamlessly integrating new clients into core systems with precision and efficiency.

The client's challenges and objectives

Our client is a leading international private bank.

They equipped its front-office agents with a new CRM tool, Salesforce (SF), to streamline the client onboarding process. This involved gathering information for transfer to the Core Banking System S2i through Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Our achievements

To efficiently transfer data, three major steps were required:

  1. Pre-entry for reserving client space on S2i and returning a reservation ID to Salesforce, involving entry of 10 pieces of information and the use of transcoding files to unify nomenclatures.
  2. Validation and finalization of data entry to update and complete client account creation, requiring 21 transactions to enter 150 pieces of information across 48 screens.
  3. Importing documents from Salesforce CRM to the client’s Electronic Document Management (GED) and updating the client file in S2i.

Salesforce CRM facilitated these steps through CSV exports, mapping files, and PDF documents, with the RPA robot leveraging these to feed S2i and GED, generate reports for SF administrators, and share processing status and business information generated by S2i back to SF.
